My shopping cart does not accept the products I want to order. What should I do?
Does your browser accept cookies? In the negative case the buying procedure with Narratore-audiolibri cannot continue with your browser. il Narratore-audiolibri uses the 'cookies' system for purchases. When you add an item to your cart, a cookie is stored on your computer which identifies your buying session, and the identity number is registered on our secure server. The cart contains the titles and details relative to the products you have ordered. When registering the order, our system checks your cookie, identifies your cart and displays the information on your screen. In this way you can confirm your order and we can proceed with it. If you have difficulty adding items to your cart, send an e-mail to sales@ilnarratore.com specifying your PC data and we will provide you with necessary technical assistance. What methods of payment do you use?
We accept the following methods of payment:
-credit card (Visa, Mastercard, PostePay and all carts of the Visa circuit)
-PayPal
These two forms of payment are displayed in a drop menu at the end of the order process.
Clicking on 'Pagamento con carta di credito' (credit card payment) you will be transferred to our secure site protected by the latest technology: VeriSign Secure Site SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Here, you will be asked for your credit card number, expiry date and the last three CVV numbers (on the back of the card). Then click on 'OK' and 'conferma' (confirm) to complete payment. You will be sent an automatic e-mail confirming the successful online transaction. For CD/CDMP3 discs you can pay on delivery (Italy only).
What credit cards do you take?
Our online payment system accepts Visa and Mastercard. Payment can be made via Paypal. For each online order/transaction you must choose the system of payment you wish to use and enter your credit card details. For security reasons, our payment system does not hold credit card data supplied for previous orders.
How do you handle the data relating to my credit card?
There is no need whatsoever to worry about your personal data or those relating to your credit card, since the data are managed by il Narratore s.r.l. using the Verified by Visa system, a solution proposed by Gateway Consorzio Triveneto, which is both easy and safe to use. Easy because to make a payment the buyer only has to enter his/her credit card data (including the last three CVV numbers found on the back of the card) on a form made out for the bank and send it; secure because the service is based on VeriSign-Secure Site SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encrypting, fully tested for online use.
When making your payment you are transferred to the Gateway Consorzio Triveneto site and only then will you be required to enter your credit card details. The entire payment process is carried out within the protected site. In this way no data relating to the user's credit card will be stored on the il Narratore site, thus protecting the user from eventual data theft on the part of a third party.
Can I get extra discounts for large orders?
Yes. A 10 % discount is always automatically applied for orders over € 130.00.
The discount is always displayed in your Cart (Carrello - Riepilogo).
In addition, further discounts are offered on all or some titles available in the catalogue at certain times of the year. These discounts range from 15% to 50% and are always advertised via our newsletter to all registered users and via a home page banner.
Do you have a currency exchange table?
No. All payments are carried out in Euro. For exchange rates you can use specialist sites on the Internet. We recommend :http://finance.yahoo.com/currency
How can I check my order status?
Just access your 'Il mio Account' using your Username and Password and do LOGIN. In your personal account you can check your order and the availability of audiobooks in download which you have purchased by accessing the Download Area where the number of days and attempts still available to download files are displayed.
Can I send back an order?
Yes, as far as CD/CDMP3 discs are concerned, and you can find the conditions in the automatic e-mail which is sent as order confirmation. This does not apply to audiobook downloads. In this case, once purchased, the audiobook cannot be changed or sent back to il Narratore. Only in the case where there is an obvious fault with one or more of the audiobook files, and following our technical verification, we will offer a refund. Refunds are only made in the 7 days from the order date.
How are my personal data handled?
When compiling the registration form, you will be provided with information referring to
Article 7 of the Italian Data Protection Law DLGS 196/03, and the client agrees to make available his personal data by ticking the relative box at the bottom of the form. This must be done in order to continue with the online order. With reference to the above'mentioned law, il Narratore s.r.l., informs that:

How can I change my e-mail address, my personal data or password?
Once entered through Login with your Username and Password a list of links will appear and you can access the section 'Modica i tuoi dati' (modify your data). By clicking on this link you can access your personal data and change them. If you change your e-mail address, Username or Password, you will be sent an automatic e-mail confirming the changes.
What are cookies ?
A cookie is very small text file placed on your hard drive by a Web Page server in an appropriate folder, generally called 'cookies'. A cookie serves to store certain data, supplied by the user or the site he is connected to, and serves to speed up certain interaction processes or supply extra information. This small file functions in an absolutely passive way, in the sense that no information from it will leave the user's PC apart from that sent by the user or that which the user sends, in that cookie text is assembled following actions such as compiling a registration form or requesting information. It can only be read the server that gave it to you. In order to place and proceed with an order online, or view your account, cookies must be present and active in the user's PC.
